1. Products, pricing, and availability
1.1. Which products are currently available for purchase?
Web-Site-Scripts currently offers KnowledgeBase Manager Pro in two versions:
- KnowledgeBase Manager Pro self-hosted software — installable software that you host on your own server.
- KnowledgeBase Manager Pro hosted service — a hosted knowledge base service provided online on a subscription basis.

1.3. Are older Web-Site-Scripts products still available?
Older Web-Site-Scripts products, including Form Maker Pro and Form Processor Pro, are deprecated and are no longer available for new purchases. Existing customers may contact support for legacy account, download, or maintenance questions where applicable.
1.4. Do you offer discounts?
We do not offer standard government, reseller, academic, open-source, or community discount programs at this time. If you have a special purchasing requirement, please contact us.
2. Ordering and payment
2.1. What is the process for ordering KnowledgeBase Manager Pro?
To order KnowledgeBase Manager Pro, select the product version that fits your needs:
- For the self-hosted version, choose the required license and complete the online checkout.
- For the hosted service, choose the hosted subscription plan and complete the online checkout.
After successful payment, you will receive confirmation by email. For self-hosted software, access to download and license information is provided electronically. For hosted subscriptions, the hosted service is provisioned online.
2.2. Which payment methods are accepted?
Payments are processed securely through our payment processing provider. Available payment methods may include major credit and debit cards and other payment methods shown at checkout.
We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Payment information is handled by our payment processor.

2.3. Are taxes included in the listed prices?
Unless stated otherwise, listed prices do not include applicable taxes. Taxes may be calculated and added at checkout depending on your billing details and applicable tax rules.
3. Delivery, access, and evaluation
3.1. How is the product delivered?
All products and services are delivered electronically. There is no physical shipping.
- Self-hosted software: download and license access are provided electronically after purchase.
- Hosted service: access to the hosted service is provided online after subscription activation.
3.2. Will I receive a CD-ROM, DVD, or shrink-wrapped product?
No. We use electronic software delivery only. We do not distribute software on CD, DVD, USB drive, or as a shrink-wrapped physical product.
3.3. Can I evaluate KnowledgeBase Manager Pro before purchasing?
Yes. You can review KnowledgeBase Manager Pro before purchasing by using the available online demo or contacting us with pre-sales questions.
4. Subscriptions, cancellation, and refunds
4.1. How does the hosted subscription work?
The hosted version of KnowledgeBase Manager Pro is provided as an online subscription service. Subscriptions renew automatically according to the billing cycle selected at checkout unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4.2. How can I cancel a hosted subscription?
You can cancel a hosted subscription by contacting support or by using the billing management options available to your account, where provided. Cancellation stops future renewals. Unless otherwise stated, the hosted service remains available until the end of the already paid billing period.
4.3. Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled according to our Refund, Cancellation & Delivery Policy.
In general, self-hosted software license purchases may be eligible for a refund under the terms stated in that policy. Hosted subscription payments are generally non-refundable for already provided billing periods, except where required by law or approved by Helprace, Inc. at its discretion.
5. Updates, maintenance, and support
5.1. What is software maintenance?
Software maintenance applies to the self-hosted version of KnowledgeBase Manager Pro. It covers access to eligible software updates and support for the licensed software during the active maintenance period.
The included maintenance period and renewal options may vary depending on the license purchased.
5.2. Can I update installed software to the newest version?
If your maintenance is active, you can access eligible software updates through the Member Area. Before updating any self-hosted installation, please make a full backup of your files and database.
KnowledgeBase Manager Pro includes an update mechanism designed to simplify product updates. If you need help with an update, please contact support.
5.3. Can I use self-hosted software without active maintenance?
Yes. A valid perpetual self-hosted license allows you to continue using the licensed version of the software after the active maintenance period expires. However, without active maintenance, you may lose access to new updates and support.
5.4. Why should I renew software maintenance?
Active software maintenance helps ensure that you have access to eligible updates, improvements, and support for your self-hosted KnowledgeBase Manager Pro installation.
5.5. How can I purchase a maintenance renewal?
Maintenance renewals can be purchased through the Member Area, where available. If you need assistance renewing maintenance, please contact us.
6. Licensing and customization
6.1. Do I need additional licenses for multiple installations?
Yes, unless your specific license terms state otherwise. Each self-hosted license generally permits only the deployment of a single production instance of the software. If you need multiple production installations, please review the licensing details or contact us.
6.2. Can we make changes to your EULA?
KnowledgeBase Manager Pro self-hosted software is licensed under our standard End User License Agreement. We generally cannot make individual changes to the EULA for standard purchases. If your organization has special legal or procurement requirements, please contact us before purchasing.
6.3. Do I get access to the source code?
KnowledgeBase Manager Pro is proprietary software. The PHP source code is provided to licensed self-hosted customers where applicable. Some parts of the product, including certain JavaScript components, may be obfuscated or otherwise not provided in editable source form.
Licensed customers may make permitted in-house modifications subject to the terms of the EULA. The software may not be resold, redistributed, embedded into another product, or used to create a competing product unless expressly permitted by a separate written agreement.
6.4. Can Web-Site-Scripts assist with customizations?
Custom development, installation assistance, migration help, or other professional services may be available on request. Please contact us with your requirements so we can review the scope and availability.
6.5. Can I request a feature?
Yes. Customers are welcome to suggest improvements and new features. Please contact us and describe your use case.
6.6. Is KnowledgeBase Manager Pro open source?
No. KnowledgeBase Manager Pro is proprietary software. Some source code may be made available to licensed self-hosted customers for permitted in-house customization, but the product itself is not open source software.
