Please be aware that only credit card payments are accepted for Hosted products on a monthly payment plan.

3. Payments and license provision

3.1 Which payment methods are accepted?

We accept following payment methods:

  • Credit or charge cards (including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and many others) via our secure payment processing partner 2Checkout, Inc. It also supports payment with Paypal.
  • You can also submit your request for required product and license here and get an invoice to pay via Bank Transfer (Wire Transfer).
  • If for some reason you can’t perform payment via 2Checkout, please use alternative payment methods page to pay via ShareIt payment processor.

3.2. How is the software distributed? Will I receive a CD-ROM or shrink-wrapped product?

We have adopted the Electronic Software Distribution (ESD) model. Consequently software is available only via HTTP download. We do not distribute any software on CD, DVD or as a shrink wrapped product.
The ESD model is the best way to stay up to date with the numerous software releases made available to you. At your discretion, maintenance can also be renewed (as described here).
You can download complete software packages through Member Area.

3.3. Can I evaluate a product for free, before purchasing it?

We installed a restricted demo of each product for evaluation on our website:

3.4. Can I get a refund?

Refunds are issued according to our Refund Policy. We provide 90-days money-back guarantee.

4. Upgrade and update

4.1. Can I update installed software to the newest version?

If your maintenance is active, you can log in to the Member Area and download the latest product version. Most of our products can be updated simply by overwriting files of new version over the old one (do not forget to make backups!). There is one exception though – Knowledgebase Manager Pro. It has a built in update module.

4.2. Can I upgrade software license?

Sure. This can be done via your Member Area.

5. Software maintenance period (support and updates)

5.1. What is software maintenance?

Software maintenance covers access to any relevant support and software updates for your software license. All commercial and academic licenses include free maintenance (commencing from the date of purchase) period. Its length may vary for different products.

5.2. What happens with my software maintenance when I upgrade the license?

When you upgrade license, the remaining software maintenance period is being recalculated according to its cost for the target license. For example:

You have KnowledgeBase Manager Pro 5 User License. There are 150 days of maintenance period left. 24 months of maintenance cost $396.

You want to upgrade to 10 User License. 24 months of maintenance for this license cost $800.

150 days of support will be recalculated to 74 days with the new license:

150 days * $396 / $800 = 74 days approximately.

You receive 1 month of free software maintenance additionally when you upgrade your license. This means that you can download the latest version of software after license upgrade and can ask us for help with updating.

These methods help us to keep fair rules for software upgrades and maintenance extension.

5.3. What happens after the maintenance is expired? Can I use the software without active software maintenance?

After the initial free maintenance period, your software maintenance will expire and you will no longer be able to access support or software updates. Renewing your software maintenance is done purely at your discretion and can be renewed in advance of your maintenance expiration to ensure uninterrupted access to the support and software updates.

Yes, you can continue to use your software after the active maintenance period expires. As all commercial and academic licenses are perpetual, you can use your software into perpetuity.

5.4. What if my maintenance was expired some time ago? Do I need to pay for past period if I want to extend my maintenance?

If your maintenance has been already expired and you renew it, the renewal period commences from the date of purchase. e.g. If your maintenance expired 6 months ago and you renew it by 12 months, you’ll get full 12 months from the moment of renewal.

Of course if you still have some active Support & Maintenance, the amount of extension you purchase will be stacked up.

5.5. Why should I renew my software maintenance?

Active software maintenance has following benefits:

  • You have the most updated and fresh version of software with all new features.
  • Our Support Department is always ready to help you with installation, configuration, usage and upgrade of your software.

5.6. How much does it cost to renew my software maintenance?

5.7. How can I purchase a maintenance renewal?

This can be done via the Member Area. There you can see how many days of maintenance left and extend your maintenance.

Yes, additional licenses would be required. Each license permits only the deployment of a single instance of the software in a commercial environment.
Some products have licenses that allow installation of several instances within one server or several servers. Check licensing details of the product for more details.

7. End User License Agreement

7.1. Our legal department would like to make some changes to your End User License Agreement (EULA). Is that ok?

Unfortunately, within Web-Site-Scripts’ current price structure, we’re unable to make any changes to our EULA. If you consider our pricing model and the costs of creating and managing individual agreements with each of our customers, you can begin to understand our position. Maintaining a standard EULA with all of our customers allows us to focus our resources on meeting our obligations under these agreements. Do keep in mind of course that our EULAs have been very carefully authored to be fair to both you and us.

There may be some issues that are not covered here or on the rest of this page. If so, please feel free to contact us.

7.2. Your EULA refers to the grant of publicity rights to Web-Site-Scripts. What does that mean? Can we change that?

Web-Site-Scripts lists a small number of our customers on our website as examples of organisations using our software. All other disclosures about our customers (customer testimonials, case studies, etc.) are done so only after collaborating with and obtaining permission from our customers.
If you don’t want us to mention your company name at all, just let us know and we’ll add you to our list of companies requesting to not be party to any disclosures or forms of publicity (including our customer lists on our website).

8. Customisations and professional services

8.1. Do I get access to the source code? What customisations can be made to the code?

The full source code for commercially and academically licensed applications of Form Processor Pro, Form Maker Pro, ROI Tracking Pro, and Web Calendar Pro is made freely available to the licensees’ nominated technical contact.

Partial source code is provided for KnowledgeBase Manager Pro: PHP part source is fully available and JavaScript part is obfuscated to unreadable state for better performance. We advise to order customizations from us to avoid any problems with the software updates.

Under the terms of the license agreement, licensees are permitted to modify the source code to develop bug fixes, customisations or additional features. As Web-Site-Scripts’ software is proprietary, under no circumstance may licensees embed the source code into another application (without a separate OEM license agreement), nor can a licensee copy or in any way use elements of the source code within other applications.

8.2. Does Web-Site-Scripts have a professional services team who can assist with software customisations?

Our team of developers is ready to start working on your customization project. First, we need your detailed requirements, second, we will send you estimated delivery time and cost.
Visit our Support Center and request us a quote for your customization project.

8.3. Can I request a feature?

  1. Vote for an existing idea or create a new one at Ideas Lab.
  2. Contact us and suggest a new feature.
  3. Leave a comment in our blog.

8.4. Are your products Open Source software applications?

No, Web-Site-Scripts’ products are proprietary software applications.
Most licenses however include the full source code of the software, allowing for in-house customisations and modifications. Web-Site-Scripts’ software is still very flexible and customisable; source modifications are required only in the most complex setups.

8.5. Does Web-Site-Scripts provide products training?
