You can apply the file2zip modifier to a file name variable to make the file a zipped archive of this file. It's very useful for email attachments.

file2zip - Zip the file

Example:

You can apply it in your email templates, like this:

Attachment: {#user_file|file2zip#}

As a result, you will receive an email message with an attached zip-archive that contains a user uploaded zipped file.

Zip-compression is only available with the following licenses: Business, World Wide, ISP.
